Stinger

Stinger system consists of 2 sections of stingers with the total length of 70.5 m.
The length of Section 1 and Section 2 are 49.11 m and 21.39 m, respectively. The width of stinger (measured from centerline to centerline of main tubular) as 4 m.
This stinger is suitable for pipe overall diameter ranges from 152.4 mm (6”) to 1524 mm (60”) working with a tensioner system of 2 x 100 t on board LTS3000.
The arrangement of ballast tanks and ballast piping of the stinger has been designed to achieve the required buoyancy for specific pipe lay operation condition. The ballasting systems of the stinger are composed of seven ballast tanks.
The locking and latching mechanisms in hitch box are actuated by hydraulics, which is operated by the power pack system.
